Aerial Photography Surveys:
Highly detailed surveys have been carried out such as:
- Urban morphology Studies (classifying every house by
Age & Type) in 2 London boroughs and a Pilot area in Manchester
- Land Use surveys (See example below): Doncaster,
Southport, an area in Norfolk.
- Greenspace studies: Bristol, Ealing, Wandsworth

A very
detailed land use survey was produced together with 'Airphoto Interpretation'.
The landscape was mapped to a 135 category legend. The legend also contained a good
selection of categories dealing with 'urban morphology'. Several years later the
client
started a 'Greenspace Survey' and found this data set (exchanged in MapInfo format)
still to be most helpful.
