Urban morphology studies (classifying every house by Age
& Type) in 2 London boroughs and a Pilot area in Manchester
Land Use surveys (See example below): Doncaster
Greenspace studies: Bristol, Ealing, WandsworthThe example shown is a
land use survey produced (together with Airphoto Interpretation) for Doncaster MBC:
The landscape was mapped to a 135 category legend. The legend also contained a good
selection of categories dealing with 'urban morphology' Four departments used this study.
Several years later the client started a 'Greenspace Survey' and found this data set
(exchanged in MapInfo format)
still to be most helpful. |
